TUSCALOOSA | David Patrick "Pat" Brown, age 43, of Tuscaloosa, died April 1, 2015, at home. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by his parents, Marilee Brown-Wells and James "Jim" Brown (Pam); sister, Leslie Bankston; brother, Bart Brown; grandparents, B.C. and Anna Brown and Bill and Rosalie Wells; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; special...

He is survived by his parents, Marilee Brown-Wells and James "Jim" Brown (Pam); sister, Leslie Bankston; brother, Bart Brown; grandparents, B.C. and Anna Brown and Bill and Rosalie Wells; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend, Cortney Roberts and her son; and his five beloved pit bulls, Milo, Red, Bunny, Dynamite, and Diva.
Pat loved Lynn Haven days, skateboarding, Evel Knievel, riding on mud mountains, fireworks, Fonzie, and his Chevelle. He played baseball from 9 to 16, and played defense on Central Falcons, where he injured his knee during his senior year. He graduated from Central High School in 1990, and was a graduate of the University of Alabama. He loved his family, friends, and dogs. He was a wonderful cook and worked as a personal trainer. He also was a pipefitter, following in Granddaddy Brown's footsteps. He was blessed when he attended the Church at Tuscaloosa's Men's Prayer Group led by the late Don Rush.
Pallbearers will be Bill Nolan, Lee Hayes, Cliff Terry, Ron Oswalt, Kelly Wells, and David Wells.
Honorary pallbearers are Jason West, Brent Gay, Randy Smalley, Central High School Class of 1990, Tri-Wil, Inc., The University of Alabama, Gary Jones' prayer group, and mentor, Kevin Barber.
